Hardy Insurance — SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions

Program Description

Hardy Insurance provides account- and service-related text messages, such as appointment reminders, quote/renewal updates, document requests, and important account notices. Promotional messages (if any) will be sent only if you separately opt in to marketing texts.

Opt-In Consent

By entering your mobile number on our website, over the phone, in person, or by texting a designated keyword to our number, you consent to receive SMS/MMS messages from Hardy Insurance at that number. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Opt-Out Instructions

You can stop receiving texts at any time by replying with STOP. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out. You may re-subscribe later by providing consent again.

Carrier & Delivery Disclaimer

Message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier network coverage and device compatibility. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported U.S. carriers commonly include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others; participation may vary by carrier.

Eligibility

You must be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide and be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state).

Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide a valid mobile number and to notify us if your number changes or is reassigned. If you stop using a number, reply STOP before you change or recycle it.

Privacy

We respect your privacy. We use your mobile number and message content to operate the program (e.g., send reminders, respond to your requests) and as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information.

Data Collection & Retention

We may log your opt-in/opt-out status, message history, and related metadata to maintain compliance and troubleshoot delivery issues. We retain records as required by law and carrier/TCR policies.

Content Standards

We do not send illegal, harmful, or misleading content; no SHAFT content (sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco), and no third-party property rentals/loans, debt forgiveness, or other disallowed content under carrier/TCR rules.

Changes to the Program

We may modify or suspend the SMS program or these terms at any time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the SMS program are governed by the Terms of Use on our website and the laws of the State of Indiana. Venue and arbitration/waiver provisions (if any) in our site Terms also apply to the SMS program.
